The We have served patients since 1984, and since we began, we have remained committed to providing advanced technology and treatments, coupled with personalized care. We enjoy educating our patients about the importance of oral health, and how to prevent and correct problems. Delany Dental Care has offered sleep apnea treatment longer than any other practice in the area. We were also the first Lake County office to offer neuromuscular dentistry and dental sleep medicine. Meanwhile, we were among the first 20 dentists in the world to practice dental sleep medicine. We are truly the pioneers of dental sleep medicine, and Dr. Shapira has been on the faculty of Rush Medical School, teaching sleep medicine, since the 1980s.

Dr. Amidei performs most of our cosmetic dental procedures, smile makeovers, restorative dental care, and dental implant cases. Dr. Shapira's focus is on complex issues which is why patients with difficult medical issues or pain, or a combination of the two, turn to him for comprehensive reconstructions addressing both cosmetic and physiologic concerns. Both are general dentists with many continuing education hours in various areas.

We offer laser dentistry, cone-beam imaging, and DNA Appliance® for orthodontic treatment. Virtually every dental procedure you need can be competently and comfortably completed in our office.

I have been going to Dr. Amadei for several years and I actually enjoy going to the dentist. The setting is warm and inviting and so is the whole staff. When I need a shot before a filling, the doctor uses a "shake my cheek" technique so I am distracted from the needle going in. He never proceeds until he is assured by me that I do not feel any pain whatsoever. He even examines my neck and throat for growths or abnormalities and no dentist has ever been that thorough before. I appreciate that he is looking out for my best interest.

For your convenience, we can text and email appointment reminders directly to you, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting your dental visit. We also accept most major credit cards, and CareCredit℠ third-party patient financing. Our office is open Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are open Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for administrative work only. We are located just across the street from the traffic court building in the Greenleaf Medical Complex area. New patients are always welcome.
